5:00–6:00 PM | Gentle Yoga & Guided Meditation
Conference Center
Ease into the weekend with slow, grounding movement and mindful breath. This calming practice releases travel tension and helps you fully arrive, ending with a guided meditation for deep presence.

Saturday | March 14 — Move, Create, Connect

Gym – Basement Level
A full-body strength and mobility workout using weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. Movements are scalable, making this energizing session welcoming for all fitness levels.
9:00–9:50 AM | Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Conference Center
A breath-led flow designed to build warmth, balance, and focus. Expect an energizing sequence that builds to a peak posture before easing into a restful savasana.
10:00 AM–1:00 PM | Personal Time & Exploration
Relax at the spa, hike nearby scenic trails, or enjoy lunch at Horizons.

1:15–2:30 PM | Mala Bracelet Making
Conference Center
A creative, reflective workshop where you’ll design a mala bracelet using beads that align with your personal intentions. One bracelet included.
3:00–4:30 PM | Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) & Sound Journey
Meet in Lobby at 2:45 PM
Immerse yourself in nature through the restorative Japanese practice of forest bathing. A gentle outdoor experience concludes with a meditative sound journey designed to calm the nervous system and deepen relaxation. Stadium seating and blankets provided.
6:00 PM | Local Wine Tasting
Horizons Restaurant & Wine Bar
A guided tasting featuring regional wines, led by a wine expert. Learn techniques, explore flavor notes, and discover local vineyards.
8:00–9:00 PM | Letting Go Ritual
Fire Pit – Golf Course
A reflective fire ceremony where guests release what no longer serves them, creating space for renewal.
9:15–10:00 PM | Yoga Nidra

A deeply restorative guided meditation often called “yogic sleep,” promoting full-body relaxation and emotional reset before bed.

A gentle closing session combining light stretching, reflection, and intention-setting so you leave grounded, clear, and renewed.

Guiding you through the Root to Rise Wellness Weekend is a team of experienced, compassionate practitioners dedicated to creating a supportive and restorative experience. Each instructor brings a unique approach to movement, mindfulness, and relaxation, helping you feel grounded, renewed, and deeply cared for throughout the weekend.

Susan Allen is a yoga teacher specializing in gentle and power yoga with focus on alignment and deep rest, creating balance within the body and clarity of mind.
Jessica L. Pereyra is a yoga and mindful movement teacher with over a decade of experience blending breath-centered flow, functional strength, and body awareness to support holistic wellness and accessible, inclusive practice for students of all ages.
